Columbia Farm Services (“CFS”) and its affiliated companies (Above the Dirt and 51 West) use SMS text messaging to support safe, timely, and effective operations. Messages may include:

Harvest, pruning, and operational updates

HR, payroll, and administrative notices
SMS communication is intended for employees and contractors actively working with CFS.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By opting in, you agree that CFS may send SMS messages to the mobile number you provide.

Consent is not a condition of employment or contract work

Message frequency varies based on operational needs
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
CFS is not responsible for carrier charges.
4. Privacy & Data Use
CFS respects your privacy.

Your phone number will be used only for CFS-related communication

CFS does not sell, share, or distribute your number to third parties

Information collected through SMS is handled in accordance with CFS internal data policies
5. Opt-Out & Help Commands
You may manage your participation at any time:

STOP — immediately unsubscribes you from all CFS SMS messages

HELP — provides support information and contact details
If you unsubscribe, you may still receive essential emergency notifications as required by law or safety policy.
6. Employee & Contractor Responsibilities
By opting in, you agree to:

Provide an accurate, up-to-date mobile number

Notify your supervisor or HR if your number changes

Use SMS information responsibly and maintain confidentiality of internal communications
CFS is not responsible for missed messages due to outdated contact information.
7. Disclaimer
SMS delivery is not guaranteed.
CFS is not liable for:

Delayed or undelivered messages

Carrier network issues

Device malfunctions
Critical safety information will always be communicated through multiple channels when possible.
8. Termination of Employment or Contract
Upon separation from CFS:

Your number will be removed from SMS distribution lists

You may continue to receive messages for up to 48 hours during system updates

You may reply STOP at any time to immediately end communication
9. Changes to Terms
CFS may update these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be posted on the CFS SharePoint site and/or distributed via SMS.
